December 2007
RePlay for Kids donates 213 adapted toys to agencies in Northeast Ohio that provide services to kids with disabilities. These toys had been adapted at workshops throughout the year.
In the past 5 years (2002-2007), RePlay for Kids has held 61 workshops, during which over 1300 toys and assistive devices were repaired or adapted, resulting in savings of over $54,000 to agencies in Northeast Ohio.

A lot of activity occurs with RePlay for Kids, so little to no updating of the website occurs. 
December 2005
RePlay for Kids receives a $5,000 grant from The Mattel Foundation to support our activities.
March 2005

December 2004 - January 2005
RePlay for Kids donates over 100 adapted toys to nine agencies in Northeast Ohio. These toys were adapted throughout 2004 during monthly volunteer workshops.
January 2005
RePlay for
Kids participates in Operation Connect, helping to teach Akron, Ohio area elementary students about switches
that can be used by children with disabilities to activate toys and
other devices.

Kids receives a grant from the Pilot Club
of Akron to help support and expand our activities.
July 2004
RePlay for Kids and the NASA Glenn
Research Center collaborate on a toy adaptation workshop for 70 high
school interns at NASA. Read about it here.

The Center for Community
Solutions bestowed its MTV (Most Treasured Volunteer) award to
RePlay for Kids' President Bill Memberg at its annual
Human Services Institute conference. The award was nominated by
the Cuyahoga County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental
Disabilities in recognition of the years of volunteer toy repair and
modification that RePlay for Kids has provided to
agencies on Northeast Ohio.
